Due to the staff of "Klub" program a mobile library was created in the charitable canteen. Now clients of the canteen have ability to get/exchange books directly there.

In honour of Motherland protectors day by the program "Home care" on the basis of Day center took place meeting of the Great Patriotic war veterans, who are clients of the "Home care" program. Also was organized festive concert. Special atmosphere of tenderness of feeling was made by songs of wartime, which were sung by solo group of Hesed's choir.

In the building of region drama theatre took place celebration of Purim, where were more then 600 persons. On this holiday we have seen two Purim-Shpil: staging by puppet show "Buba" of the Hesed's community programs and Sunday School, and theatre group of community programs "Lehaim vsem!" Also women vocal ensemble "Neshama", youth dancing ensemble of Hesed's community programs and Sunday School "Shmeyhele", child vocal ensemble "Nizanim", child choir, klezmer orchestra of the Hesed appeared on the stage. By tradition everybody who was in this celebration received humentashen as a present from the Hesed.

In the network of the program "Medical consultations" under the direction of doctor-volunteer have been working a group of mutual assistance for women, who had suffered from cancer of breast and need psychological and/or social rehabilitation.

In the Shevchenko region drama theatre took place city festival of minority groups, which named "Songs gather friends". On this holiday was presented representatives of Jewish, Russian, Armenian, Gipsy, German and Korean city communities. From Jewish community choir of the Hesed "Helibte Nigunem", klezmer trio, children dancing collective, children vocal ensemble and violinists ensemble appeared on the stage. One of festival debutantes was nine-year pianist Natalya Sosnovskaya.

Was organized new club - "Sew ourselves", where volunteers of the "Club" program teach all comers wards to cut out and sew.

On the festival of Jewish books of Central and Western Ukraine was a day of the Cherkassy Hesed Dorot. There were represented exhibitions of Jewish heritage from resources of Cherkassy regional museum of local lore and literature museum of Cherkassy State University, also books of Uriy Marinovsky "Cherkassy in the past" and collected poems of M. Veytsman "Third attempt" were represented too.

In the building of Cherkassy region drama theatre was celebrated "Khanukkah" - holiday of light, where presented more then 600 persons - clients of the Hesed and members of the Cherkassy community, and many guests. Some of them are: Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Israel in Ukraine Anna Azari, vice-chairman of Joint center board in Kiev Sam Amiel, chairman of region government Vadim Lyoshenko, mayor of Cherkassy Yuri Voloshin. Attendees of this celebration have seen concert, which was prepared by creative collectives of the community and Hesed. Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Israel in Ukraine Anna Azari was invited for lighting up of Khanukkah candles. Everybody, who attended this celebration, got suvganiot.

Children theatre collective "Shmeihele", supported by Hesed Dorot, Jewish Sunday Scholl and Cherkassy United Jewish community, has become a student of the first international festival of Jewish dramatic art, which was in Lvov.
